Elemental Cycles Card Games: Explore the Journey of Carbon, Water & Nitrogen!
These interactive card-based games helps players understand the carbon cycle, water cycle & Nitrogen in nature through movement and chance. Designed like a board game, different stations represent natural locations or sinks—such as the atmosphere, oceans, forests, animals, soil, rivers, and clouds—where carbon, water or nitrogen molecules can be found.
At each station, players draw a card that describes a natural process (like evaporation, respiration, combustion, precipitation, photosynthesis, etc.) that moves the element from one place to another. Players roll a dice to progress through different pathways based on the card's instruction.
As they journey through the game, players experience the dynamic and cyclical movement of carbon and water through Earth's systems, gaining insights into how energy flows, matter recycles, and ecosystems stay in balance.
This game encourages systems thinking, cause-effect understanding, and collaborative learning—making it perfect for classrooms, workshops, or science fairs.
